The current version (7.2.1) of Veeam Recovery Orchestrator finally supports HyperV (both for *production *and for Recovery Locations).

Now it’s possible to connect HyperV clusters also without SCVMM

Currently, there are some caveats to keep in mind, as stated by the official docs

***DataLabs ***are the test environment where Recovery Plans can be tested without impact on production. Well, DataLabs are not available on HyperV at the moment. Maybe in next VRO (13?) version? We hope so.
This is the first, importan limitation: on HyperV the Recovery Plans can only RUN, but not be TESTED in a DataLab environment.
Second limitation: you can only use RESTORE Recovery Plans with HyperV.
