S.E.: Chip, RAM, Disks market and AI Bubble (?)
In January 2026 it became evident that a period of **shortage **of *RAM *and *Disks *was about to start, caused but the AI “bubble” (is it really a bubble? hard to say: some signs say “yes”, some say “no”, because most of the companies investing a lot of money in AI are not “AI Only” firms: Oracle, Google, *Microsoft *have already strong positions in the market with more “traditional” or even “legacy” products).
I dediced to open some positions on related stocks, not “hyped” like NVIDIA: Sandisk

Western Digital

Micron

ASML

one month later I can only complain “why didn’t I go all-in!”.
It’s always easy to say it later… anyway now the question is: how long will this shortage last? Will the “bubble” explode? Should I Buy/Hold/Sell?
In the while I made a bet on an “indirect” stock: a not as popular company, LAM Research. They produce machines to produce chips.

if the shortage should continue and be forecasted for a long time, producers will invest in their plants…
